“Their secretaries don’t know how to answer customer service questions or connect you with someone who will help. I’ve been extremely disappointed in their incompetence, lack of customer service, and ridiculously high costs since I hired COS.”

HOW WE IMPROVED

We now have 2 administrative assistants for every department in our company. They are trained heavily to be able to answer the majority of customer questions themselves, and if they can’t find an answer, they know exactly who to direct you to to get one.

“Unprofessional conduct. One of this company’s managing partners had their assistant book a call with me. His assistant booked the call for 9am. He was an hour late for the call with no reschedule or forewarning.”

HOW WE IMPROVED

Every member of our team that has meetings with clients (potential or active) is now using CALENDLY. This ensures that they are getting alerts 15 minutes before each meeting, and that they are only being scheduled in timeblocks that we are available. Since we have made this change, our communication with clients has never been better.

“Paid close to $400 to file + create an LLC. Now come to find out all my taxes were PAPER FILED (Feb 2020). They did not make it clear that they were being paper filed. NO-ONE paper files anymore. If I pay for a premium service you’d expect they would at least E-file. I could have done this myself electronically elsewhere and for well below what they charged.”

HOW WE IMPROVED

First & most importantly: We made the switch to e-filing services after quickly learning how much more efficiently it would be for both us and our clients. We started as a very small team, and did not expect to see the growth we did at such a fast pace. We’ve adjusted, and now service thousands of clients, with prompt filing on our end.

“I’m leaving a one star review because I’ve been confused most of the time with what cos accounting does and how it benefits me. Which is frustrating because I have received consistent bills and requests to fill out forms as well as multiple start up fees.”

HOW WE IMPROVED

All new clients will be required to talk on the phone with one of our accountants to answer all questions. Once they join, they will receive a set of onboarding emails, detailing our services, including videos from our CEO about how we help. We have also set up a Youtube channel with videos breaking down money saving tips, tax strategies and more!
